The Duo Papilio was created in December 2008 by Spanish singer Marcos Zúñiga and Czech guitarist Anna Slezáková.

Its artistic projects evolve primarily around Spanish music.

Much of its repertoire consists of arrangements of works by great Spanish composers such as Manuel de Falla and Joaquín Rodrigo.

Duo Papilio creates its own arrangements of pieces from Spanish Zarzuela, but also from Argentine tango, French chanson and various arias.

The duo performs in guitar festivals and concerts. It also offers a program for Christmas with Advent Carols and songs.
